Flowers are included in the lists for months in which they were seen, rather than by the defined flowering season. In alphabetic lists, flowers are listed using their english names, and by main name, e.g. the Common Field Speedwell will be found under S, but not under C or F. Latin names may be given alongside the english names.
Some people consider wild flowers to be weeds. Yet wild flowers are generally much more delicately beautiful then their cultivated relatives. For example, a wild Dog Rose is incredibly lovely, whereas cultivated roses are merely incredibly vulgar. Wild flowers are natural and should be enjoyed, respected, and not harmed.
